No matter what we do, what our talent potential may be, how much ability we may display, we must generally rely on fundamentals as a foundation in everyday life. These fundamentals include balance of time and energy, core values and core strength, healthy dieting, and planning and consistent participation in physical activity. We must mentally overcome obstacles; reluctance, fear, and anxieties that prevents us from living in the present and enjoying our dreams and ideas that are unfortunately impeded by external things in too many instances. One of my favorite quotes originated from a great U.S. president when he said:

“Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the ax.”

—Abraham Lincoln; America’s 5th favorite bill in their wallets

Success comes when we attain that which we set out to achieve and there are many recipes for it. If this success goes towards a purpose we may find that there is more value in this success than just, let’s say, money. We become more confident in exploring the world and environment around us, and using this awareness to identify clear ideas and expressing them to our personally and in our community. We must develop mindfulness in all aspects of fitness; Physical, Mental, and Emotional. In doing so we can display our purpose to those around us; even the smallest energy put forth into the universe goes a farther than you think. We can identify mental resistance that keeps us from doing what we want to do; reduce our risks in life and increase our chances of succeeding daily. If you want to compete as an athlete you had better be mentally RESILIENT as there will be wins and there will be losses and our confidence must be fundamentally rooted in not dwelling on failure, rather building from it—seeking self-improvement. It may benefit those who are willing to dedicate their self and be compelled to learn about an experience, growing knowledgeable and effective in what we want to do.

Even if we want to just simply live a physically healthy life, we must develop actions-into-habits-into-behavior while learning about the body. We want to explore any and all accessible ways to train our bodies and minds to become resilient—to reduce our physical stresses on our cardiovascular and pulmonary systems, reduce our emotional responses to make clear decisions and solve obstacles, and having mental awareness to identify and minimize self-destructive thoughts that too many of us live through in our minds instead of living in the moment. No longer do we want to conform to non-essential thoughts that keep us from being in touch with ourselves and acting through purpose. We will reduce inaction with ACTION.

My goal is to create a community of fitness and wellness by offering detailed and individualized fitness programs for any age, gender, skill level, athletic ability, or socioeconomic status. sharing network-reinforced knowledge in the field of exercise physiology and behavioral change. This strategy is to create a foundation of fundamentals of universal balance and core strength, identifying and coping with mental challenges that obstruct us from living the life we choose to live, and develop a plan to actively and successfully navigate life.

All of the above affects our longevity and quality of life while living! Preventing injuries and inflammation, supporting metabolic processes for weight management, or improving performance; these all support a life of reduced pain, and builds confidence by accomplishing goals. I want to implement this strategy for commanding a consistently healthy level of fitness at any age and develop new strategies that allow flexibility with each person so that we can experience success through compliance. We will do this by being MINDFUL and KNOWLEDGEABLE—for knowledge is power and a vascular and healthy mind improves this power.

An external factor impacts an otherwise undisturbed surface, creating emotional ripples that obscure the clarity of our minds.

I want to introduce mindfulness of emotional decisions and connect them to lifestyle choices relating to diet, personal and professional relationships, and our daily activities (or in-activities).

Let i.motivate.me provide leadership, guidance, and knowledge to build confidence in the cause so that we can begin living differently, or do what the majority of our population does not do; stay active, stay eating healthy, and cope in a healthy way with external anxieties that we internalize. Let’s begin handling life with clarity, self-respect, confidence, and motivation.

In order to accomplish the mission and vision I believe it is my responsibility as a health care professional to invest in those willing to be listened to, those willing to learn, and those who want to develop the physical and mental means to become healthy (OR STAY HEALTHY)! I define my investment as an input of any type of resource towards an outcome favoring the health and wellness of the collective individual of this community; your fitness and health is my fitness and health.

Sincerely,

Jeremy Watts—ACSM-EP, i.motivate.me
